Operating Principle
With patented technology, the total mass flow of oil-gas-water three-phase fluid from oil wells is measured by Venturi meter. The mixture density of the multiphase flow is measured with a gravitational densitometer. The water cut in the liquid phase is measured by on-line microwave water cut meter. All electronic signals from the secondary instruments are input into a dedicated flow computer, which contains a set of state-of-theart multiphase flow models and PVT models. The flow computer calculates, displays and records the instantaneous and accumulative flow rates of oil, gas and water of the multiphase flow.

Well testing can be accomplished in as little as 2 hours. The graphical display and data logging functions provide the user with persistent results to view trends and to post process the test results or production measurements.
